I have NO idea where Y'all are getting your information, but Xenix on Tandy
computers was limited to:


TRS-80 models 16, 16b and 6000
and
The 286 or better X86 Tandy boxes

Xenix for the TRS-80 'business' computers (II, 12, 16 & 6000) required the 68k
Boardset ->processor board and 1 or 2 memory boards.

there were some model II's and 12's that had the 68K boardset added to them, the
II's were easiest, they already had the cardcage in them, the 12's had a custom
motherboard that encompassed the boards that made up the II (I could be slightly
mistaken here, i's been a LONG time since I was inside a II or 12, i preferred
the 16, 16B and 6000, running either Xenix or CP/M 68K

Oh, and the II and 12 had z-80 CPU's, ran TRSDOS or CP/M 2.2 & 3.0 -cp/m plus
also IIRC- (i think there was 1 or 2 other dos available for them)

the 16, 16b, 6000 and 68K upgraded II's and 12's STILL had a Z-80 CPU, plus the
68K boardset, so you could run TrsDos, TrsDos-16, Xenix, CP/M (2.2, 3.0, +),
CP/M 68K plus there may be a couple other OS I am forgetting.
