[geeks] Looking for a CD/MP3 player with proper display

I have MP3 CDs with more than 99 tracks, no folders. I've been trying
to find a CD player that will properly display the track number with
up to 3 digits. Almost all are limited to either 20 or 99 on the
display. A pause button would be nice (ideally a "program" mode to cue
a track).

Other features I'd really like is either a *wired* controller to punch
in the numbers or the keypad directly on the front (just like the good
old Technics and Sony CD players). If not, a good remote with big
buttons would probably do it (I can always wire it).

I've not been able to find such a player at a reasonable price.
Rackmountable DJ cd players have a good remote usually but are too
expensive.

An alternative would be a small PC with a USB keypad, but then there
is the issue of a display...

Anybody has a CD player (or even a DVD player) that fit these
requirements? Let me know the brand / model.
