[geeks] Intel Mac Mini - Horrible USB2 drive performance

I'm using Xbench 1.3 to quantify what I'm seeing interactively with file
copies.  No, I'm not doing end-to-end... but if I can't get it off the
drive, I can't get it across the rest of the path.

OS X 10.4.9, factory install.
