[geeks] QUESTION: RJ45 -> RS-232, using CAT5 cable

I need to make a 25 foot RS-232 cable, male on one end, female on the
other.

Parts I have:

Two DB-25 hoods with RJ-45 connectors, one male, one female. Pinouts:

	PIN COLOR

	1 blue
	2 orange
	3 black
	4 red
	5 green
	6 yellow
	7 brown
	8 white

25 feet of RJ-45 standard CAT5 cable.

What's the best wiring?

I can only do 1:1 pin arrangements, as the hoods are just the little
push-N-snap kits.

I want to get at least hardware flow, and as much of the other signals
as I can manage.

The goal is a cable to run between systems (DTE), and I'll use null
converters for anything else.

I've tried a couple of pinouts on the net, but they all seem to be
different and for specific situations.

I just need a generic 25-pin RS-232 cable, using cat5 as the cable.
