That'd certainly be something interestingly different to try. The
principal problem with the thing, though, is it has a buggy IDE chipset
and an OHCI USB controller that's prone to hard-lock the machine if
probed at boot. (With Gentoo, I was able to work around that by telling
the system to probe it as UHCI instead.)
