And in fact lost the case! Possibly because "Holy Blood, Holy Grail"
was not entirely original itself.

I'd categorise TDC as a passably entertaining science fiction story
about a parallel universe which has a history slightly similar to our
own. You would have to be awfully gullible to believe it was anywhere
near the truth.
