Etude is french for study (as in I need to study for my Solaris
security certification exam) and sometimes used to refer to a short
musical composition to practice a specific skill, or in other art
forms to delve into a specific style or skill of that art form.

I dont know which meaning they had in mind when they named this project:

But at any rate, pretty interesting, to be able to run Solaris 8 under
a Solaris 10 container.
