I've had good experiences with pkgsrc on Nevada - it seems to have a
cleaner base install than blastwave, and more modern packages than
blastwave. I tried it with both the sunpro, native (i.e. sun supplied
gcc) and a self-bootstrapped gcc; the sun supplied gcc was able to
compile the most packages without error.
