All the Dells we have have 4 LED indicators on. My Precision 390 has  
them on the front panel by the USB ports - I find it quite nice having  
a LAN activity LED on the front - it's quite cool :) On mine the LEDs  
go out after diagnostic though, just to confuse matters.
