Won't work. He specificaly asked for OS9, which does not support SMB
(CIFS) shares unless you bought a different package. I think it was
called "Dave". 

I have had good luck running Netatalk on Linux and at one time Solaris,
but I think the whole point was not to set up yet another computer. :-)
