Exactly.  My backup system (does nothing but rsnapshot) is an SC420 that I
got for $169 *shipped* in 2005 - Celeron 2.53, CD-ROM, gigE, onboard video,
512M RAM, 160G SATA, etc.  All I did was add another HD and another 512M
RAM.

Works great, is darn near silent.
