It has four AV inputs (composite video, L/R audio) with a VGA output, VGA
passthru, and audio output.  Lets you plug something with composite output
(DVD player, game console, etc) into a VGA monitor.  I used it with an old
Amiga system but got rid of my Amiga stuff months ago.

Takes composite video and audio (mono) input; wall wart for power.  Has
brightness controls for video and volume for the built-in speaker.  It's
not AWESOME quality due to the resolution but is fine for watching
movies/TV/etc.  I paid $47 for it new in 2005 and it has had very little
use.
