It's supposed to be disturbing. The article basically made it all up,
by taking facts, quoting them out of context, sticking in a few
quotes by analysts that no one has ever heard of and presenting
a conclusion.

I've read the same thing about Dell, Apple, IBM, GM, Ford, etc in the
last few months. I believe it about GM, wonder about the rest.*

In six months, if Sun is bought out, people will go "see he was right",
and if not, they will have forgotten him.

It would be interesting to see how many people got a phone call a few
days ago to buy Sun stock AFTER the article came out. :-) (or sell it
short before)

The "bottom line" is that everything in the US is a "target for acquisition"
because it's 30% cheaper than it was two years ago.

Geoff.

* In the "real world", the US dollar has dropped 30% since January 2007.
This has almost ruined every company that buys from suppliers outside
the US and sells in the US. It also has bankrupted many of the suppliers.
