So what'll we see?

   Will x86 Solaris Oracle finally get patched in a timely fashion? Or
will MySQL be quietly put down, or spun off? Will the open software
products be closed again (as much as they can), or set free?

   I think Larry has had some disparaging things to say about cloud
computing, so Sun's announcements of the past two weeks about cloud
storage &c. might be *cough* reconsidered.
