Came across this card this morning, thought it was interesting. It is
an ATA/133 (IDE) controller card that has both a 40 pin connector for
"normal" drives and a 44 pin connector for an on-board 2.5" IDE
"notebook" drive with mounting hardware to place the drive on the PCI
card itself.
It appears to have been designed/intented for upgrading older Macs
with slower controllers and limited drive installation slots, but it
could be useful for other applications (adding a ninth boot/os drive
to an 8 bay storage server, for example.
