It depends. I have only seen an iPhone for the first time last week. They are
not sold here, but many people have them. It was impressive and it was
described to me by the owner as the "best PDA he had ever owned, but not a very
good phone".
As for aps, I assume that the day after they appear here from the regular
carriers, around the end of September, there will be 10,000 startups
founded to make "iPhone Aps". I'd be surprised if there are 500 of them left
by then first of the year. :-(
