It's been a long time since I was in the "music business", as it were, but
there are companies that provide such things to professional performers.
Look in the Yellow Pages under Theatrical Lighting and/or Sound.

You should be able to choose from a range of stands, from something that
moves along with the bass notes (but is light and strong) to a stand that
will be the last thing standing when the bomb drops. :-)
