Not true actually, Apple have dropped UK prices on systems on a couple 
of occasions in the last 5 years when the USD was running a bit lean 
against the pound. The problem is you never actually notice because 
prices only happen on spec changes, which means the prices are only set 
or changed one every 18 months.
