The system was never problmatic with solaris 10, it was the opensolaris 
& sxce, that's been solved now, the system also makes a very good xen 
DOM0 using netbsd, you need to disable ACPI initially initially to be 
able to do an install then re-compile a new kernel with options 
PCI_ADDR_FIXUP and PCI_BUS_FIXUP enabled.
