You could try an OpenSolaris distribution such as Belenix
(http://www.belenix.org/). There seems to be a CD-sized ISO image, and
it should have a late enough ZFS build to look at babylon4's pools (but
you may still have to do a 'zfs import'). Just don't try a 'zfs
upgrade' :)
