[geeks] Solaris 10 x86 recovery?

Curiouser and curiouser ... the Solaris 10 10/2009 DVD autodetected
babylon4's root pool and mounted it just fine on /a, and as far as
either I or zfs scrub can tell, there is nothing whatsoever wrong with
it.  So why wouldn't grub boot it.....?  Did grub manage to do something
completely ass-stupid with its configuration or something?
