Er, sorry, David Lynch.  I've successfully erased most of the details
from my memory.  "weirding modules".  Duncan Idaho as a jovial fop.
Though nothing else quite reached the pure "Scriptwriter really didn't
understand the book at all" factor of destroying the entire planetary
ecosystem out of nowhere in the final scenes.
