Heaven forbid you miss a timing belt change and it jumps. I bought my only 928 from a
customer of mine that didn't heed my warning about changing it ASAP (I moonlighted as a
wrench at an indy VW/Porsche/Audi shop). The new guides and valves and machining cost me
more than I bought the car from him for. But there's just something about that kick in the
ass when you put your right foot down...I really miss that car.
