I love comparing that mindset of 'things just go down' with the completely
irrational those same managers want over cloud vendors. Google Apps (as I
recall) refunds half your monthly fee if there are any number of outages that
add up to 18 hours that month.

How many of those same managers demanding 100% refund (or more) go without pay
OR give back budget dollars when their in-house systems go off-line a similar
amount of time?
