That isn't emulating a computer in software, that's emulating one software
environment in another.

But, if you were to be interested in doing that, years ago Dr. Dobbs Journal
of Computer Calisthenics and Orthodontia had an article that discussed
building a FORTH environment in BASIC - that's where I would start...
