[geeks] Q: memory tests

I've got a Shuttle XPC (cube HTPC from a few years ago) that has an
interesting 'issue' - curious if anyone else has seen this...

The system has DDR2 ram, it boots and runs fine if I escape out of the BIOS
memory test and the memory tests fine in Memorytest86+ (ran quick tests w/o
issue, currently running extended tests now).

All indications are that the BIOS  memory test is bad, but I can 't upgrade
the BIOS easily (I need to install a DOS-compatible OS to run the Award BIOS
update program).

I'm gonna update the BIOS tonight, but it seems odd that the system would pass
Memorytest86+ but fail the BIOS memory test...

Ideas?
