Until early this year my former employer was using Foxpro to extract data
from the HR system.  'Who gets paid this week', 'who has been fired',
'credentials needed for account management': like that.

The entire time it was up and running - 1998 - it sat on X's desk, on it's
own wee little computer.

For a mid-sized manufacturer, 8,000 employees.
