I'm actually concluding that with a decent-size screen (6" or larger),
Android tablets are now at the point where they're pretty decent PDAs.
I'm thinking of getting a larger screen device to use as a a remote data
access terminal (to do things like cross-check against my library
catalog while at the bookstore) and as a portable GPS nav device. I
continue to think that fondleslabs are terrible phones; they're overly
complex for the task, yet they are missing *obvious* basic "smart phone"
functionality, and they generally have audio quality so atrocious
they're well-nigh unusable except with a headset.
