Yes, if I was building a smallish environment with no Windows I'd be 
looking at LXC and Docker as well. We're already trying it at work for 
local testing (instead of Vagrant) and are planning to start testing CI 
builds.

If I was building out a larger cloud Linux setup I'd be looking at 
OpenStack, but it looks like one of those systems where the upfront time 
investment equation makes more sense the more machines you're managing. 
(I could be wrong, I haven't played with it extensively)
