I must admit, I've never seen a 2.5" SCA drive[1]. I'd imagine they were 
fairly niche products as they must've arrived just as the server industry 
started switching to SAS.

[1] I've seen the odd 2.5" SCSI drive - didn't the DEC Multia take one?
