At their most basic, that's my understanding too.  But these are
supposedly capable of encrypting the traffic.  The rendezvous mechanism
is simple enough to be mass-market usable, but insecure enough to make
me uncomfortable without some way to see what other bridges it's
associated with.

Hence my questions about the admin protocol and firmware.
