[geeks] FTGH: small pike of SPARC & Alpha HW in DFW area

Hello all, a week from tomorrow is electronics recycling day, and I am
allowing myself to keep ONE SPARC system, provided I can get it up and running
by Friday next week. Everything else is free to a good home, if you want me to
ship, I'll only ask you to cover expenses.

I can and will happily power-test any item, but I may struggle to find a
suitable monitor or cobble together a terminal for anything more extensive.

Here's what I have:

Sun Hardware:
3x Sun multi-packs
1x Sun V240
2x Ultra 10
3x Ultra 30
1x Ultra 60
Some Sun Uni-packs (not sure if HD or CD-ROM)
1x SPARCstation 5
2x Ultra 5
3x Ultra 2
SPARC Enterprise T5220

Alpha Hardware:
Alphaserver ES40

I also have at least one Portmaster terminal server and one Sun 13W3 KVM,
probably 8 system, with cables and a small pile of keyboards/mice in various
conditions (all serviceable or better), as well as a bunch of drives on sleds
and UltraSPARC CPUs pulled from U30, U60, and U2 systems.

I think I want to keep one system, install Solaris whatever on it, and run it
remotely as the mood strikes me - but it has to be quiet - no howling 1u or 2u
servers! I'm leaning towards either an Ultra 2 or Ultra 60, as they strike me
as suitably quiet for a residential setting.

Any interest? I have some quick photos I took, I'm happy to share them, but
this stuff needs to go. I literally haven't touched them in 5 years, they need
a new home or they need to be recycled.

Again, I'm in Texas, in the DFW area, and I can deliver any/all of this for
the cost of lunch & gas up to 5 hours away.
