Which I'm trying now actually.

The weirdest part of this is how most of the console output seems to be 
dropping every second character.

Anyone have recommendations for what terminal program to use for serial 
console?  Right now I'm using tio but I don't *know* whether it is 
contributing to the problems.  Its output is garbled even worse on the 
KWM monitor.  And the ILOM doesn't appear to be getting as far as 
configuring its network address via DHCP.
