What does "newer version" mean?

I know there are different pool versions

https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E37838_01/html/E61017/gjxle.html

and different ZFS versions

https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E37838_01/html/E61017/gjxik.html

BUT, the version of ZFS in FreeBSD and Linux might have a different version than that?

does "zfs get all arcpool" return a long list of attributes?

Cordially

Patrick

Subject: [geeks] ZFS help?

Configured ZFS on my Linux workstation, moved over the SAS controller
and the external chassis that holds my archive drives.

babylon5:root:~:8 # zpool import
    pool: arcpool
      id: 17808620091427972781
   state: UNAVAIL
status: The pool was last accessed by another system.
action: The pool cannot be imported due to damaged devices or data.
    see: https://openzfs.github.io/openzfs-docs/msg/ZFS-8000-EY
  config:

         arcpool UNAVAIL newer version
           raidz1-0 ONLINE
             sde ONLINE
             sdh ONLINE
             sdf ONLINE
             sdg ONLINE

Anyone have any secret tips here?

I have a feeling this isn't going to work. I have a T5220 that I may be
able to use as an interim storage daemon host to run a restore from
instead if I can get it online.
