Does "open a connection to port 9100 and send PostScript" work?  Or
anything on that order?  If so, I might want to get myself one; my
IIISi had developed issues - it seemed to need a new drum within a
month after replacing it.  (It was a lovely printer in every other
respect, possibly excepting physical weight.)  But I've never had any
success trying to speak lpr or CUPS or anything else to printers, so I
want something absolutely boneheaded simple.
