[SunRescue] Re-treading Wangtek and Archive tape drive wheels?

Sadly, my entire stock of usable 60mb Wangtek and Archive tape drives
is now going belly-up due to the decomposing melting rubber drive wheel
syndrome.   Anyone know of any sources for rubber drive wheels?

I have been retreading them with air hose slices, superglued in place,
but it does not always work as well as I like (the consistency of the
rubber is too hard).

Any suggestions or insights are appreciated.
