[SunRescue] IPX

This is normal behaviour for the IPX.  If it can't find the keyboard, it
assumes you are going to have a terminal plugged in... at that point,
there is really no need to keep sending things to the frame buffer, so, it
just stops.  When you get a keyboard, it will work.
