/etc/hostname.hme0 should have a hostname in it
/etc/hosts should have the same hostname, along with an IP address.
Basically the system takes the IP from /etc/hostname.hme0, looks that
up in /etc/hosts, and assigns the IP address thats in /etc/hosts.
