Well here is my 2% of $1,

I just bought an Ultra 1, 170E to replace my SS10 with dual 100 MHz
HyperSPARC CPU's This machine kicks the SS10's butt easily, no comparison.

As for price, the U1 wins also: Base U1 with CPU $650.00 delivered

SS10: $150 for base, $400 for CPU's

The rest of the parts are the same.

for $100 more I say go Ultra. YMMV.
