I think I can comment on this one.  Depends on if you are planning on
putting your monitor on it too, but yes, it should work just fine.  I
have my SS5 and a dual PPro box on a 500VA UPS, and they seem to be
saved from anything that isn't too long.  I've yet to test just 'how
long'.
