Sounds like the battery is failing.  Two options are available:
1) a new nvram chip, and
b) reprogram the nvram chip each and every time you boot the box

A site exists to teach how to reprogram the chip.  I believe it is
squirrel.com or something similar.

I get a post error..."post failed. replace TOD/NVRAM" Does anyone know
what's wrong? Is it the NVRAM, or may be the battery?
