As long as you're "appending" drives, and not "inserting" drives, it's not
that bad. When you stick them on the end, a re-scan of the bus will detect
them, and just picks them up. When you insert drives in the middle, then it
can wreak havoc on the OS. The SCSI controller should be content no matter
what you do, as long as you terminate the bus, and don't assign an IDs to
multiple devices (boy, does that cause some WEIRD problems...)
