I'm putting together an SS10, and I'm getting strange results from the
PROM command "module-info". The MBus module in question is a dual-55Mhz
Ross HyperSPARC module (slow, but I can't beat the $0 price).
SPARCstation 10 MP (2 X 625), No Keyboard
ROM Rev. 2.12, 64 MB memory installed, Serial #6339435.
Ethernet address 8:0:20:17:fd:6, Host ID: 7260bb6b.
<#0> ok .version
Release 2.12 Version 2 created 93/03/29 14:25:15
<#0> ok module-info
CPU# 0 : 05.5 MHz CY620 / CY625
CPU# 1 : 04.2 MHz CY620 / CY625
Has anyone seen this before? My guess is that I need to upgrade
the PROM in this to something newer (2.25?).
Also, does anyone have any 55Mhz Ross modules they're not using?
(or any slow speed ones?) I can trade for some various old Sun
pieces (4/110 mboard, cg3 and GX cards). I remember scsistuff selling
66mhz cards for $30 a couple of years back, but they seem to be all out
now.
ja.
