[SunRescue] Frame Buffer - need Help!

hi sun guru

I heed help for my frame buffer... I have an Axi motherboard, OpenBoot 
3.10.6 , an ATI Rage II Video Card (4MB I suppose), and Solaris 7.
The problem is that I configure it with m64config utility and it works 
nicely under Solaris/console ONLY when I use 8 bit depth.
But I need 24 bits depth, so I decided to configure it. But when I try I 
have only garbage on my monitor. The screen is much more larger than 
normal and it seems as two screens are one over another (I think the 
signal is not properly working) 

1) Do I need a patch for Solaris 7? 
2) Do I need to upgrade my OpenBoot PROM?
3) Am I using the right tool to configure the ATI video Card?
4) Do you think I need to move jumpers on the video card?

Any idea?

PLEASE HELP ME!!!!
