If you've got the PC-style 101-key keyboard, try ctrl+break or shift+break
(where break = "pause"). I think that usually does it.. Or you can try
turning off and turning back on the terminal - this will usually generate a
BREAK and drop you to the ROM (at least this did at ioNET in '95...)
