Thanks everyone for your comments.=20
I have another question: (VME Architecture)
I understand that Solaris 8 or 7 are not supporting VME. I'm not =
sure what are the implications; It won't use the other 3 processors ? or =
the OS won't see the other board with more memory ? or won't see the =
internal Hard drives? (I know it requires a tweak during startup)
I'm learning, could you elaborate on "VME Support"? (I've been trying to =
learn and understand about VME but so far I still don't get it)
I found this link that according to Sun they're still supporting 4m =
unless the 670 is the exception:
Solaris 2.6 System Administrator Collection Vol 1 >> Information =
Library for Solaris 2.6 (SPARC Platform Edition) =20
Supported Hardware
The Solaris 2.6 release supports all sun4c and sun4d platforms. Most =
sun4u and sun4m platforms are also supported, but check with your =
hardware vendor for exceptions
Thanks a lot

Solaris up to 2.5.1 w/o hacks
Solaris 2.6, 7 and _maybe_8 w/ hacks, and no VME support*
Linux (Redhat 6.2 runs on mine)
Net or OpenBSD _may_ run, no SMP, you may have to remove a proc.
