If you have plugged into the onboard frambuffer port and get no signal then
you are missing the VSIMM that drives that port. Plug a CG3 or CG6 or so in
and you should get video. See the framebuffer faq for more info regarding
the built in FB and VSIMM for the SS20.
As far as the password do you mean login to the OS or NVRAM password?
