I meant the side-cover - if that's the cowl you're referring to.  I
suspected that there was some kind of switch there but like I said I've
never opened one up before.

btw, if you mean opening the front door to the drive bays, i wouldn't worry
about it even if it is during production hours. if you mean removing the
cowl to get at the pci slots, you should be aware that there is a kill
switch that will cut power to the machine when you remove it.
