Not at all, I've installed it a couple of times on bog standard ultra 5's
without any problems.  You may need the following patch though - 108376,
for perhaps more informative errors drop to a failsafe login and type
'gnome-session'.  I've got it running on a sunray 100 and it looks
fantastic.
