Yeah, I know that about video cards.  In this case, the video card on the
10 is the zx board, just about the slowest 2d board ever made for Suns (I
hear the GT is worse, but I don't have any personal experience with it).

The remote file system is /home/username, where username is the currently
logged on person.  For some reason the admin set it up to dynamically
mount the user directories.  Bleh.  I guess that means if more than one
person is logged on then there would be multiple mounts.  But there is
seldom more than on or two people per machine.
